Certification Advisors (two positions)

  • Provide advice to industry

  • Customer relations and helpdesk services

As a result of a restructure, we are seeking two additional Certification Advisors to work in our team that processes applications and issues certificates relating to vessels and people. We also maintain the New Zealand Register of Ships. 

Our team is small and friendly, with a strong and supportive culture. We are looking to recruit two staff members who are comfortable providing advice to a wide range of clients, and have a good understanding of customer care and relationship management. 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this position. You will also need a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, computer literacy and self motivation. It will be useful if you have had experience working with legislation. You must be able to interpret technical information, but a background in the maritime industry is not necessary. The ability to deal sensitively with confidential information and discretion is also required.
