	Maritime New Zealand is working with SSM companies and maritime safety inspectors to provide training and resources and posters for use in the training context (some of these resources are only available when the training course is completed). Fatigue advisor resource This resource is for those who will act as advisors on fatigue management in the maritime industry. This includes: MNZ staff SSM companies managerial and rostering staff of major operators specialist industry advisors.

This guide provides:

essential information about the causes and consequences of fatigue
guidance on specific fatigue management strategies that could be used in a fatigue management plan.
