Safe Operational Plans for Dive Vessels

 
 
Commercial vessels of 6 metres or less that are engaged solely in excursions for the purpose of recreational diving, which do not proceed beyond enclosed waters or more than 5 miles from a Safe Haven on the coast of New Zealand (Maritime Rule Part 40A) are required to be under a Safe Operating Plan (SOP).

To get a SOP, contact an Authorised Person (see list below) who will work with you to inspect, audit and approve your operation.
