A ground team landed by helicopter has managed to reach the site of a crashed power glider near Mount Prospect.
Police will now secure the site and manage the recovery of the bodies.
Two Civil Aviation Authority investigators will arrive in the area tomorrow to start their investigation. Neither person on board the glider survived the crash.
They have been named as:
Owen James Truelove - 69 years-old, and his son James Christopher Scott Truelove - 37, years-old.
