How we process your request

We may need to withhold certain information. If we need to do this we will let you know why and your right to complain about the decision.

If you would like to request information about another individual or are requesting personal information on behalf of someone else please provide written consent from the individual whose information is being requested. If you do not or are unable to provide such authorisation, your request will be processed, but it may be necessary for Maritime New Zealand to consult with the person before making a decision to release of any information.
