How to close a Part B registration
If you want to close your Part B registration in the New Zealand Register of Ships, you must inform Maritime NZ.
A Part B registration ends if any of the following happens:
- the ship is sold
- the ownership changes in any way other than by sale
- any of the descriptive particulars of the ship change.
